Smudge Sticks

These sticks provide plenty of smoke and once used can be extinguished by pushing against the side of a bowl or into sand. Make sure they are completely extinguished as they can reignite.

Smudge sticks are used to clear away negative energies from yourself and from rooms and can be used to cleanse the aura. A feather can be used to waft the smoke over and around you and around the room.

Native Americans have traditionally used many herbs for this purpose and getting rid of negative energies attracts more positive energies.

Smudging can also be used for cleansing crystals after use.
