The flower of authority and these horses are excessively ambitious and dominant. They want to be head of the herd and will fight for this, often becoming loners. Because of their obstinancy and refusal to obey commands they are very difficult to teach. Excessive neurosis such as wind-sucking and weaving are very common. Vine is frequently combined with Heather and Holly as an accompanying treatment for sever chronic illness.

Vine reduces ambition and dominance to a normal level making the horse more subordinate.
